Liturgical Musician
of Notre Dame of Elm Grove, Elm Grove, WI
St. The Liturgical Musician for Notre Dame of Elm Grove serves the Community as principal musician. The person is responsible to provide music which is liturgically appropriate for community liturgies and other designated celebrations at the Notre Dame of Elm Grove Retirement Community. The Liturgical Musician is a person of prayer, liturgical competency; is sensitive to the population of Notre Dame of Elm Grove and understands their spirituality, charism, limitations and diminishments. The Liturgical Musician assures that services are provided within the spirit and mission of the School Sisters of Notre Dame and according to the policies of the facility. This position will be 3 hours per day/5 days per week.
Education and Experience
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in music required. Minimum of three years’ experience as a Liturgical Musician.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in at least one performance area (e.g., organ, piano) and a working knowledge of other instruments which might be used.
- Knowledge and appreciation of the Church's liturgical tradition as well as current liturgical principles and practices.
- Has a thorough understanding of the musical, liturgical and pastoral judgments which must be made in selecting music for liturgy.
- Is able to work with the religious, elder population in a patient, understanding and kind manner.
- Proficiency with basic office computer software including Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Director

St. Ann Place, a daytime outreach center for homeless women and men was established in 2003 as a ministry of St. Ann Church in West palm Beach, FL. The primary responsibility of the Executive Director is to insure that the mission of the Center; “to witness to Gospel values by providing a safe, clean place where clients receive services in a respectful manner regardless of race, religion or sex” is reflected in its activities, its services to clients and the work ethic of the staff and volunteers.
Chief Duties:
- Manages the daily operation of the Center.
- Evaluates programs with the staff periodically, make necessary changes when appropriate and develops new programs when needed.
- Responsible for the management and supervision of staff.
- Develops the annual budget, reviews financial reports, monthly bank statements, etc.
- Works with the Assistant Director on publications & development activities.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds, and is the liaison with the Diocese's Director of Building and Construction.

Health Services Manager

The School Sisters of Notre Dame is an international community of women who have positively influenced the lives of millions. Our campus in Elm Grove rests the Notre Dame of Elm Grove retirement community which provides both skilled and assisted nursing care to nearly 140 retired Sisters.
The Health Services Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of nursing services and for achieving the health care objectives for all Notre Dame of Elm Grove residents. The Manager oversees and supervises registered nurses, LPNs and certified nursing assistants under a model that fosters independence and wellness. The manager also collaborates with internal groups and external partners and health care practitioners.
A qualified applicant will possess the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Current State of Wisconsin RN License.
- A minimum of five years’ leadership/management experience in a geriatric setting.
- Has a record of continuing education in gerontology, hospice, and/or dementia care.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of health issues facing the older women population.
- Demonstrates ability in Continuous Quality Improvement for nursing, communication and decision-making.
- Ability to manage, lead, mentor, inspire and supervise employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and utilizes these tools to enhance work and communication.
- Strong oral and written communication skills used to collaborate with other professionals and staff.
- Sufficient organizational and interpersonal skills to assign, motivate staff, elicit work output, improve quality and interact effectively with residents and staff.
- Possesses a high degree of professionalism, tact, courtesy, and skill needed to interact with staff, residents, family, other departmental personnel and outside agencies regarding residents.
- Maintains confidentiality of residents, employees and facility information.

There is a full-time position available for an administrator at our ten-acre campus at Villa Assumpta in Baltimore. This residence is home to about 60 School Sisters of Notre Dame and is the location for the offices of the Provincial Council and some staff of the Atlantic-Midwest Province. The administrator of the Villa also interfaces with the Maria Health Care Center Administrator especially relative to shared services.
The administrator is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations at the Villa. She must have a minimum of three to five years experience in managing a campus and/or residence. Requirements also include proficiency in team leadership, interpersonal skills, and financial management. All work is carried out in a way that integrates the mission, values and traditions of the School Sisters of Notre Dame.

Mother Seton Academy, a tuition-free, urban Catholic middle school in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a dynamic leader as its next President.
