The School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND) are hosting two events in honor of International Women’s Day. The Women’s Leadership Luncheon will be held on March 8 and a Piano and Bassoon Recital featuring music by women composers will be held on March 11 on the SSND Sancta Maria in Ripa campus in south St. Louis County.

The Women’s Leadership Luncheon’s guest speaker is Maureen Herrmann, president of Marian Middle School, a Catholic middle school serving economically disadvantaged girls to advance them to college prep high schools and beyond. As president of Marian Middle School, Herrmann is responsible for the staff oversight, financial development and operations of the school for 75 urban adolescent girls.
 
Seating is limited. There is no charge to attend, but reservations are required.
