on the outskirts of Waterdown, Ontario.

The Notre Dame Motherhouse is the foundation for the life and mission of the Canadian Province. It is home to our retired sisters and houses the administrative offices for the Canadian Province

It is a place of prayer and contemplation, joy, hope and compassion, quiet beauty and gracious hospitality.

Our home reflects the wellness model, where wholistic care is provided and living life to its fullest is encouraged.

Our retired sisters continue to live the mission and ministry of SSND through their prayer for those in active ministry and for those who request prayers. Their life-long faithfulness is a witness to the world.

Also on the property are the SSND cemetery, final resting place for most of the School Sisters of Notre Dame of the Canadian Province and activities that harmonize with SSND values: Seniors Activation and Maintenance Day Programme (SAM) and a Montessori School.
